I am very pleased to share that Interface has earned the #1 spot in GlobeScan's most recent Survey of Sustainability Experts. Every year, this Canadian based research company asks sustainability experts from all sectors including government, corporations, journalists, academics, and NGO leaders, their opinions on sustainability trends and insights.
The Survey reports what companies merit attention for their commitment to sustainability and asks sustainability experts to name the companies that come to mind as leaders. In this November 2008 Survey, Interface received the highest number of mentions - beating out companies like BP, General Electric, Shell, and Toyota. Interface also was ranked as #1 in the Fall 2007 Survey of Sustainability experts, so we’re excited about this continuing trend.
The Globescan results noted that Interface “maintains its position at the top of the list, despite an increase in the number of companies mentioned, Interface has clearly maintained its long-standing reputation for sustainability.”
