TacTiles
TacTiles are glue free adhesive films that connect carpet tiles
together to form a stable surface, creating a floating floor over
almost any hard surface. They're a sustainable alternative and also
perfect for heritage fitouts, where maintaining original flooring
integrity is a concern.
InterfaceFLOR's next generation innovation TacTiles eliminate the health hazards of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) prevalent in conventional carpet glues, making them ideal for use in schools, healthcare facilities, public and private buildings.
TacTiles are easy ot remove and recycle, making replacement of stained carpet tiles a simple and economical task.
TacTiles use a small quantity of pressure sensitive adhesive, applied to one side of a poly film to connect carpet tiles together.
Surface preparation requirements for installations are the same as those for installations where adhesives would be used. TacTiles can only be used to install InterfaceFLOR carpet with GlasBac or GlasBacRe backings.
TacTiles should not be used for installing InterfaceFLOR carpet onto stairs, ramps, under heavy rolling loads or over existing carpet surfaces. The adhesive used on TacTiles resists water and alkaline solutions and resists plasticizer migration.
