Interface Warranty
Interface warrants its modular carpet products in accordance with the terms stated below for a minimum period of 15 years from date of invoice. Interface modular carpets used in the Education sector are warranted for 20 years from date of invoice.
Interface 15 and 20 year modular carpet performance warranties include a castor chair warranty for the same period.
All Interface branded products are warranted against excessive surface wear, edge, ravel, backing separation, shrinking, stretching and static electricity. Excessive surface wear means loss of more than 10% by weight of lace fibre. Products containing Intersept are warranted to maintain antimicrobial effectiveness and products constructed of 100% solution dyed yarns are warranted against excessive colour loss due to normal exposure to indoor light. All Interface modular carpet manufacturing facilities worldwide maintain registration to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

ECS Certificates
The Environmental Certification Scheme (ECS) is an environmental labelling scheme for textile floor coverings. It is an extension of the internationally recognised Australian Carpet Classification Scheme (ACCS). Certified products must comply with a range of performance criteria and have a current ACCS grading. The ECS allows for 4 levels of product certification which requires licensees of the scheme to satisfy incrementally more demanding performance criteria. Textile floor coverings certified under ECS Levels 2, 3 and 4 certification is recognised in the Green Star environmental rating tools for buildings.
