Melbourne High desperately needed to change the ageing broadloom carpet in their library. One of the milestones for this refurbishment was moving all the books. By converting their library to Interface’s i2™ Entropy® range the library was not only given a fresh new appearance, they were also able to leave 90% of the books in place.
Melbourne High Library was one of the first libraries to benefit from Interface’s Renovisions™ iibrary jacks, eliminating the need to move and store thousands of books. The broadloom carpet was simply cut away and shelving units still full of books were lifted while new carpet tiles were placed underneath. This saved a large amount of time, budget and organisation.
