Approximately one in six children suffer from asthma and approximately 40% of the Australian population suffer from allergies. In response to these alarming statistics, the National Asthma Council developed the Sensitive Choice program in order to help Australians make better decisions when selecting products for allergy and asthma care.
InterfaceFLOR carpet tiles are sensitive to asthma and allergy sufferers for a number of reasons:

- Our dense loop pile construction helps trap dust and allergens resulting in cleaner air

Our proprietary antimicrobial product Intersept® is also included in our carpet tile products and adhesives to help prevent the growth of a broad spectrum of moulds, mildew, bacteria and nasty odour-causing micro-organisms, known to trigger allergy and asthma attacks.
