Bioscapes - Custom Pure Grey Continuum - Caramel, Apple and Marble |
As a part of a collaboration between Ramsay Health Care and the Western Australian State Government, the Joondalup Health Campus provides an innovative, holistic environment for wellness. As the largest healthcare facility in Perth's northern suburbs, it was important for the Campus to be an integral part of its natural surroundings.
When translating this concept to the built environment, it was just as important to consider the internal space of the campus. That's why, when selecting product for the floor, designer Aileen Angus from Silver Thomas Hanley looked to Interface's Bioscapes collection for inspiration.
The Bioscapes collection is based on the concept of Biophilia – the belief that humankind has an innate, emotional connection to nature, and that experiencing nature can improve our lives physically and psychologically.
