Born Free – Black and White Collection |
|
David Dawson Architects wanted a slightly conservative carpet flooring solution for the Wine Underground that was durable and easy to maintain. The decision was Born Free from InterfaceFLOR’s Black and White Collection. The classic yet wild carpet tile design was a key factor in the decision making process as it allowed a degree of connection with Coopers’s 1862 Bar at street level.
Born Free is durable and resistant to foot traffic and although the carpet design has a lot of white, it is highly resistant to staining. For the occasional red wine accidents, single carpet tiles can easily be pulled up and replaced.
