ReEntry™ Carpet Tile Recycling
Environmental Responsibility
In 1994, Interface realised carpet was a growing environmental concern, and started revolutionising the way carpet is manufactured and recycled.
Closed Loop Recycling
The environmental impact of carpet yarn and backing can be significantly reduced by recycling carpet at the end of its consumer use. And Interface have developed the technology to do this.
We call it, ReEntry™, and it's the world's first carpet tile recycling program working towards closing the loop on the use of non-renewable raw materials and fuel.

Recycling Solutions for Most Carpet Tiles
ReEntry also accepts carpet tiles from other manufacturers. Most vinyl backed tiles are eligible for recycling into new carpet tiles. Used carpet tiles with bitumen and other types of backing are reconditioned by our recycling partner McMATS, and reused in the second hand carpet market |
