It’s the only way we can reach our Mission Zero goal, so that's why our Sixth Step is all about engaging people through promoting a safe, sustainable future, thereby improving their lives.

Our current targets:

• Create sustainability awareness and engage stakeholders.
• Encourage participation and investment in our associates and stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement in safety and performance.

We must increase sensitivity to the thousands of little things each of us can do to inch toward Mission Zero. We must inspire the world to understand Mission Zero, ensuring environmental safety, financial health and social well-being. And, we must engage others to join us on our mission.

Community Involvement

• Interface Australia is actively involved with the Green Building Council of Australia. The organisation’s mission is to define and develop a sustainable property industry and to drive the adoption of green building practices through market-based solutions.
• Identified as the number 1 organisation in GlobeScan’s sustainability survey 2006, as “the organisation with the greatest commitment to sustainability”.
• Through our Environmental Education Grants program, Interface employees worldwide solicit and endorse grant applications for teachers to promote environmental awareness and responsibility.
• InterfaceFLOR employees support a wide variety of charitable organizations and causes, including the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, EarthShare and Salvation Army to name a few.
