InterfaceFLOR Discovers Missing Link in Carpet Recycling Proces

The first truly recycled commercial modular carpet was launched in Australia today.
InterfaceFLOR’s RePrise Collection is the first ever modular carpet collection crafted with post-consumer yarn and backing, with an impressive 70 per cent recycled content.
InterfaceFLOR’s Australian General Manager Clinton Squires launched the RePrise Collection.
In a major technological breakthrough InterfaceFLOR has created the industry’s first closed loop carpet recycling system, allowing nylon fibre to be recycled into new fibre and vinyl backing to be recycled into new backing, making carpet from carpet.
Significantly, the RePrise Collection has not compromised on style, feel or durability.
RePrise consists of four beautifully balanced styles – ReCollect, ReEntropy, ReFine and ReFrain – that fit perfectly in any environment with grace and performance.
The RePrise Collection, itself 100 per cent recyclable, cuts the use of virgin materials and brings InterfaceFLOR closer to achieving Mission Zero, its goal of zero environmental footprint by 2020.
